Dr. L. Wright, EDd, LPC, ASOTP
I decided to pursue a professional career in the sciences requiring the ability to treat and explore human beings. After careful consideration, I discovered Counseling/ Psychology to be a perfect avenue. Completing my education and mastering the professional licensure examinations has led to a fulfilling occupational advancement. In 2016, I began the Restored Haven journey. This beautiful practice scopes a vast amount of populations scarcely covered in textbooks and lectures. The growing distress is followed by current research on rural and urban communities across the Houston area. As a current scientist and proud researcher, I enjoy meeting the demands one challenge at a time!
Current therapy focuses on children in rural and urban areas. These individuals are typically school age and have diagnosed difficulties including but not limited to autism, attention deficit disorder, conduct disorder, bipolar, learning disabilities, oppositional defiant disorder, mood disorder, adjustment disorder, and post-traumatic stress disorder.

With a passion for cultivating the youth, she received her B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies from Stephen F. Austin State University in 2013. This prompted her to pursue a M.Ed. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lamar University in 2015. Since graduating, Candrea has been dedicated to closing the gap and advocating for our youth.
Candrea’s clinical experience includes counseling and consulting adolescents, adults, couples, groups and families. Her expertise includes the areas of cognitive behavioral therapy, depression, anxiety, oppositional defiant disorder, ADHD, and trauma informed care.
Candrea understands that difficult times and unexpected life changes happen. Counseling is a powerful asset to help individuals navigate these changes in order to reach healing and growth. Her belief is that empathy, self-care, and resilience are essential when trying to master life.
